Achievements in Basketball – International Level:

  1. First Indian women Basketball player to represent our country in 5 Asian Basketball Confederation Championships.

            1984 – Shanghai – China

            1986 – Kuala Lampur

            1988 – HongKong

            1990 – Singapore

  1. Captained Senior Indian women team in the 13th Asian Basketball Confederation Championship at Singapore during the year 1990.
  2. Participated in the I & II Indira Gandhi International invitation tournament at New Delhi during the year 1986 and 1988 where the team secured Bronze medal.

National Level::

  1. Participated in 12 Senior National Championships of which represented Indian Railways in 10 National Championships.
  2. Captained Indian Railways in the Jamshedpur Senior Nationals in the year 1988.
  3. Winner of 10 Gold Medal and one Silver Medal for Indian Railways in the National Championships.
  4. Participated in 10 Federation Cup Championships of which secured Gold medal for 8 times and Silver Medal
  5. Represented and Captained Southern Railways in 14 inter railway Championships- winner for 8 times.

Awards:

  1. Recipient of Indira Gandhi National Award for the year 1990.
  2. Railway Week Award (GM Award) in 1992
  3. GV Raja Award for the outstanding sports person of Kerala State- 1985
  4. Feasto Award for the best basketball player of Kerala state – 1992.
  5. Indian gymkhana award for the best yester year player-2012

  1. Coach & Manager of Southern railway Women basketball team for the last ten years which won the inter railway championship Six times
  2. President of Professional Basketball Ace (PBA) Club.
  3. Joint Director of Professional Basketball Academy
  4. Attended advanced basketball training at the George Manson University, USA in 2011.
  5. Chief Coach of Chennai Slam team who won the title at the UBA Professional Basketball league in 2016.
